Best Islamic Finance Training Provider 2016 Award for ICDIF-LPPI

For the first time ICDIF-LPPI receives an international award. The award is given by Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) for the category of Best Islamic Finance Training Provider 2016. The President Director of the LPPI, Hartadi A. Sarwono, himself received the award on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Hotel Fairmont, Jakarta.

ICDIF is a part of the LPPI that was officially named on June 25, 2008. In eight years ICDIF-LPPI has conducted trainings and consultation services on sharia finance for sharia finance institutions, both local and international. For the international class ICDIF-LPPI has conducted sharia finance trainings of basic level for 8 times and 6 times for advance level, attended by approximately 300 participants.

Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) is one of the most prestigious awards in Islamic banking and finance. The award is given to institutions and individuals committed in sharia finance development and have significant contributions in its progress locally and globally.

This program was attended by President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukito, Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto, and Minister of National Development Planning/Head of National Development Planning Board Bambang Brodjonegoro. Moreover, it was also attended by Head of Global International Finance Awards Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II, Governor of Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) Kairat Kelimbetov, Assistant Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia Dato Bakarudin Ishak, and ambassadors of friendly countries and other organization representatives.
